Star cricketer Virat Kohli and actor Anushka Sharma visited Vrindavan this week to seek blessings from spiritual leader Premanand Maharaj at the Keli Kunj Ashram.
The couple arrived early in the morning and spent nearly an hour at the ashram in prayer and private interaction. The couple has now visited Vrindavan four times over the past year.
Kohli and Anushka reached the ashram around 5:30 AM and quietly joined other devotees. Both were seen sitting with folded hands in front of Premanand Maharaj during the spiritual gathering.
This marks their fourth visit to the saint this year, highlighting their growing spiritual inclination.
The couple had arrived in Vrindavan on Monday evening and stayed overnight at a hotel before heading to the ashram the following morning. After completing their visit, they reportedly left for Delhi later in the day.
During their interaction, Anushka Sharma was heard expressing deep devotion, saying, “Maharaj ji, we are yours, and you are ours.” In response, Premanand Maharaj smiled and replied, “We all belong to Shriji. Live with joy and remain happy.”
The exchange reflected the couple’s strong faith and emotional connection to their spiritual mentor.
In December last year, the couple was seen wearing Tulsi mala kanthi around their necks, which is traditionally given after initiation in the Vaishnava tradition.
While reports suggest that they may have taken diksha from Premanand Maharaj, the ashram has not officially confirmed this.
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have increasingly embraced spirituality in recent years. In 2023, they visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain and were also spotted at Neem Karoli Baba’s ashram in Uttarakhand.
Their Vrindavan visit once again underlines their commitment to maintaining a spiritual balance alongside their professional lives.
The visit was kept largely private, and the couple did not make any public statement regarding the purpose of their trip.
However, their continued association with Premanand Maharaj reflects a deepening spiritual journey that has drawn attention from fans across the country.
