After more than a decade of uncertainty, Munna Singh, father of Indian cricketer Kranti Goud, has been reinstated in the Madhya Pradesh Police Department.
Singh, who served as a constable, was suspended in 2012 following alleged negligence during election duty.
The matter, pending for 13 years, was finally resolved through the initiative of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, according to Madhya Pradesh Sports Minister Vishwas Sarang.
