Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 Warm-Up Schedule Out

The countdown to the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 has officially entered its final phase after the International Cricket Council confirmed the complete warm-up schedule for the tournament in England.

With just weeks remaining before the opening match on June 12, participating teams are now preparing for a crucial set of practice fixtures that could shape their campaign.

A total of 12 warm-up matches will be played between June 6 and June 10 across Derby, Loughborough, and Cardiff. The fixtures will allow teams to adjust to English conditions, test combinations, and build momentum before the main tournament begins.

India’s preparation schedule has already generated strong interest among fans. Harmanpreet Kaur’s side will first face West Indies in Cardiff on June 8 before taking on hosts England on June 10 in one of the most anticipated warm-up clashes.

With India also scheduled to play a T20I series in England before the World Cup, the team will have valuable time to adapt to local pitches and weather conditions.

Defending champions New Zealand will begin their preparations against Bangladesh on June 6 before renewing their rivalry with South Africa on June 9. Meanwhile, England’s high-profile contest against Australia in Cardiff is expected to attract major attention ahead of the tournament.

The upcoming warm-up matches are expected to play an important role for teams looking to finalise their combinations and assess player form before the global event begins. Several sides will also use these games to give younger players exposure in high-pressure conditions.

With blockbuster rivalries, emerging teams, and world-class talent set to feature, the tournament promises an action-packed month of cricket in England.
