Three-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have unveiled their new jersey ahead of the Indian Premier League 2026, introducing a bold design built around the theme “Lines of Legacy.”

From Brendon McCullum’s iconic unbeaten 158 in the inaugural IPL match in 2008 to Rinku Singh’s unforgettable five sixes in a dramatic final over, KKR’s journey has been filled with memorable highlights.
Each of these moments is represented as a “line” in the design, which collectively forms the initials KKR through a distinctive abstract pattern. The concept transforms the jersey into a storytelling canvas. It allows fans to wear a symbol of the team’s legacy.
Speaking on the launch, CEO Venky Mysore said the design reflects the spirit and history of the franchise while also looking ahead to the future. He emphasised that every line represents a key moment of brilliance that continues to inspire the team and its supporters.
The jersey reveal was backed by a digital-first campaign featuring creators and entertainers, blending humour and pop culture to connect with a wider audience. The initiative aims to bring fans closer to the team’s journey as anticipation builds for the new season.
KKR will begin their IPL 2026 campaign with an away clash against the Mumbai Indians on March 29, before returning to Eden Gardens for their home fixtures. With a refreshed squad and a strong legacy behind them, the franchise will look to make another serious title push this season.
