Playing for Bihar in a Plate Group match at the JSCA Oval, Ranchi, the 14-year-old smashed a 36-ball century, becoming the youngest player ever to score a hundred in men\u2019s List A cricket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At just 14 years and 272 days, Suryavanshi broke a 39-year-old record held by Zahoor Elahi, announcing himself as one of the brightest young talents in Indian cricket. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The right-handed batter reached his hundred with a single off the first ball of the 12th over, showcasing remarkable composure alongside explosive stroke play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Suryavanshi\u2019s knock also placed him among the fastest century-makers in List A history. His 36-ball hundred is now the second-fastest List A century by an Indian, behind only Anmolpreet Singh, who scored a 35-ball hundred in 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Overall, the fastest List A century belongs to Jake Fraser-McGurk (29 balls), followed by AB de Villiers (31 balls).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
