The tour will begin with a one-off Test before both teams face off in a three-match ODI series.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shubman Gill will continue to lead India in both formats as selectors begin preparations for the 2027 ODI World Cup. Senior stars Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have returned to the ODI setup, while Jasprit Bumrah has been rested as part of workload management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">KL Rahul has been named vice-captain for the Test match and is expected to continue as India\u2019s first-choice wicketkeeper in the ODI format. Shreyas Iyer has returned to the ODI squad and will serve as Gill\u2019s deputy in the 50-over series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The selectors have also rewarded several young performers with maiden call-ups.
